These were all done at Uncle Ted's buddy's taxidermy and go cart shop.

Make Plans.
The definite plans are still in the works. For sure kegs, bikes, trampoline, and rad dudes. Meeks is working on getting the most bitchin' Misfits cover band in existence to play. Maybe a bike show in the afternoon beforehand? Costumes required? I'm waiting on getting all the info from Meeks, then I'll finalize the flyer. Until then, do me a favor and help spread the word! Thanks.

My old shitty looking new bike.
Kustom Jeff came by the shop the other day and shot some photos of my panhead. I should have it ready to go right when it gets cold as fuck. Pretty stoked.

You Should Probably Watch This. Hood Bush 2012
Show Class made a video summing up a good bit of riding from The Hood Bush. If you missed the show, this is as close as you are going to get to living it.

Barbers....
....is in just a few weeks. I still have to get all of my shit together for the swap meet. I'm looking forward to it though. I usually get in serious business mode the first day, get up way too early, spend way too much money on way too much shit, then party the rest of the time. Its also a great place for people watching. All kinds of critters come out of the wood work. Honda nerds that stick their noses up at you and your piece of shit Harley. Badasses racing the fuck out of their ancient machines. Catching up with old friends. I can't wait. Here's a few photos from a Barbers of the past.

My Panhead.
I haven't been sharing too much with the progress on this bike. Not neccesarily keeping it a secret or anything, just a little unsure if I was going to be able to pull off what I had set in my head. I'm way stoked on it now so I'll share a couple of photos. I got a 48 basketcase some time ago and have slowly been piecing it together as I find what I need. I spent the other night by myself at the Dojo and I was able to work out a front end and get it on the ground for its first time. Bikes look way different when you have been working on them at eye level from a bare frame up. I need quite a few more things(18 inch star hub wheel mostly.), but here's the general look of her as she sits right now.

Halloween Party.
So Meeks has really been wanting to throw a Halloween party at the Dojo. Maybe a ride beforehand, or small bike show, then turn it into a monster mash. Maybe a band, kegs, costumes......more details to come. I told Meeks that I'm concentrated on getting everything together for Barbers, so he's the party planner. Here's my contribution.

You can tell by the cuts that they are drinking Coke.
Here's a bike post for you. Some real period correct beep-bop shenanigans. I envy photos like this. I also envy bikes like this. Let's find Doc Brown and build a time machine.

Taxidermy.
A lot of people these days seem to collect taxidermy, or stuffed animals if you must. They make a good decoration or accent many places, so I don't blame the collectors. Well, I've been thinking that the Dojo could use more spice and character, so taxidermy might just be that spicy character. But not just you're average stuffed creature of nature, I'm more interested in animals that the normal citizen might consider a sub-par job. Or fucked up if you will. Or even better, Critter Taxidermy. Let me know if you have possession of one of these critter ass beasts and are willing to part with it to put a little flare in our training facility. Here are a few examples of what I am talking about that made me laugh out loud.

My Sweet Babe Got Sick.
And I don't know how to fix her. She started making a weird noise/vibration while slowing down the other day when Laci and I were out getting lost on some country roads. At first it kinda felt like it was time for some new brake pads, but eventually it felt and sounded like her primary chain had come unadjusted during deceleration. I pulled over to inspect, and it was perfectly in line. It definitely sounded like it was coming from the primary, so I got somewhere safe and took the cover off. Perfect and clean as a whistle inside. Main shaft bearing? Fuck, rod bearings? I don't know and feel terrible. My sweety is sick and I don't know how to make her better.
The Barber Vintage Festival.
It's our hometown event. And it's coming up in a few weeks. I've got to sell some shit to build some shit, so buy some shit. I'm stoked to see all of the homies coming in town for it.
