So I started my panhead....

I got to hear my panhead run for a second last night. I have a petcock that leaks, a bowl that leaks, an intake leak, an exhaust leak, will try to start only when retarded, and can't figure out a common starting sequence for shit. It started for a second though, so I'm stoked. Ryan just so happened to be filming me with his phone, kicking away.

My Panhead.

I haven't been sharing too much with the progress on this bike. Not neccesarily keeping it a secret or anything, just a little unsure if I was going to be able to pull off what I had set in my head. I'm way stoked on it now so I'll share a couple of photos. I got a 48 basketcase some time ago and have slowly been piecing it together as I find what I need. I spent the other night by myself at the Dojo and I was able to work out a front end and get it on the ground for its first time. Bikes look way different when you have been working on them at eye level from a bare frame up. I need quite a few more things(18 inch star hub wheel mostly.), but here's the general look of her as she sits right now.

Livin' It.

One of the great ones in my opinion when it comes to old biker photography. No explanation needed.

Good Friends Ain't Nothin' To Fuck With.

So I have slowly been piecing together a 48 as I get parts or money. I have been trying to use more original or kooky parts than normal to give it that 40's or 50's bobber, a.k.a. bobby, a.k.a. Robert feel, ya dig? Well, I get home from training at the Dojo yesterday and there is a box addressed to me from Roadside Marty. I open it up and what lay there before me is a complete Linkert m74B with an intake. Just what I needed to make Dion's song ' The Wanderer' hum from my exhaust. Thanks for constantly coming through for me and the dudes Marty, you are greatly loved.

They might smoke weed.

Love truly is a magical thing. One perfect way to show that is by making a portrait of you and your partner's naked romance, as shown by this couple below. I may be wrong, but they look to be the outdoorsy type in my opinion. Hippies if you will. Hairy and stinky sex. That's what's up. It could have been Joe back in the day. Ben and Jerry son. Nice portrait.

Sup.

I wonder how the idea of getting them to get a photo together even came about? "Aye, while I'm here......... Facebook son."

Congratulations.

I totally know a guy who looks like the bride. Brunson, Mosley, do you see it?

Haha!

So after we rolled back into town from our trek across the country, I went straight to the shop to drink beer with all our bros that didn't get to go on the trip with us. I mean literally from the road to the party. Anyways, Custom Jeff took this photo of me right after I got off of my bike. What a scum fuck I am.

I scored a generator Shovelhead today.

So me and Robby headed to south Alabama today to check out this bike. Truthfully, I was really thinking it was going to either be a sketchy motor or just a busted ass bike overall. Well, when we showed up, my first thought was that it was probably one of the cleanest 1966 shovelhead motors I have ever seen. To top that off, it is in a Denver's frame and it has a Denver's frontend. Its pretty digger. I have been wanting one of these motors for some time now, so I would say that it turned out to be a pretty good day.

P.S...........I am planning on building a pretty 60's looking chop out of this, so I am only wanting to keep the motor, tranny, and maybe the cute little spool hub. That said, let me know if any of yous want a pristine condition Denver's frame and frontend. Hopefully there are better quality photos to be posted soon. (Larry).

Been woking on the Tijuanaville's Tank

The paint for my tank finally arrived, and it was well worth the wait. If you ever want to go with a rattlecan paint job, Montana 94 series paint is da Shit! Kind of a weak huffer but it goes on super silky and they've got colors you can't find anywhere else.

Old school son, all the way. No decals, just OneShot paint and a photo of a vintage Triumph logo from 1914.
Tank accent. To help with your aim while fillin' her up.....drunk and in the dark.
