Duane took the liberty of making Ape Knuckles some new bars while he was not at the Dojo. Complete with a rotor windshield. It needed a rubber dick too. Reminds me, if anyone has an extra dildo that they are willing to part with, one is needed here.

Weed Bars.

I know Duane wants his bike to be top secret until next week and I'm trying real hard to do that, but it's so rad that I have to share just one photo. The perfect bars for this bike. We originally were going to use some six bends, but they just didn't look right without hacking them up. And they were stainless six bends. I think these worked out great though. Sorry Duane. That's all I am going to show the public.

The Weed Steed is coming home!

Ok, so some of you may recall my badass, period correct 70's chopper that I had that we dubbed the name "The Weed Steed". Well, I had to part with it when I came across the deal that I did with my shovelhead. Anyways, Duane has tracked the bike down and the current owner is apparently over trying to ride sketchy choppers and is willing to sell it. So, to make a long story short, Duane is getting it for a smokin' price and bringing it home this weekend. The bike has been molested slightly due to the current owner trying to "modernize" it, but the essentials are still there. The rare Sugar Bear frame, the front end, the seat........ Duane has a vision for a makeover in his head and I promised him that I wouldn't post photos of it until he completes it. I will tell you that John The Painter has claimed the tins, so you know it's going to be one bitchin' ride!

I can't wait..... this thing seriously rules.

The Weed Steed.

Duane has been talking about tracking her down and buying her back from the guy that bought her from me. I hope he does, this bike was seriously so much fun to ride.

I found The Weed Steed.

Many of you may remember The Weed Steed. It was my 68 XLCH that was in a Sugarbear frame. It was fun as shit to ride, and it never let me down. I had to recently sell it to acquire my 66 shovelhead. I was sad to see it go, but the shovelhead is gonna rule. I caught wind from Duane that someone had seen my old chopper on craigslist, and I ended up finding it in Jackson, Mississippi. It looks very different now then it did when I had it. I see that it still has that rare ribbed primary on it though. Here's the photo.

I was expecting way worse when I went searching for the craigslist listing. Lose that period blood red paint, and it's not too shitty looking. I still would have kept those sketchy ass rabbit ears that I was running on it.

Got out and scooted around town a little bit today.

It was nice and sunny when I left the house, and I raced the storm clouds on the way back.

Got out on The Weed Steed today.

We had badass weather today. It was like 56 degrees with no clouds in the sky. The past few weeks have been fucking freezing, so I had to take advantage a little bit.

Another good day of riding.

Yesterday it was 50 degrees and sunny, so me and the Brunson put a few miles on the bikes. Take advantage of it when you can because the forecast predicts nothing but cold.

Fucked around with the weed steed today.

I messed with the carb and the timing a little bit today, I hate Bendix carbs. Its easier to start now especially with the weather getting colder. I tried to sell this thing last week because I had a panhead lined up, but the guy never paid me. I'm not too bummed, this thing keeps growing on me.

Generators can be a bitch.

I still don't have lights. Magneto works fine though, so I can still ride around!
