I've heard about the Heads MC for years in 60's biker folklore, but this is the first clear image I've seen of their colors. This must have been the inspiration for Tommy Chong's Roaches MC.
Does anyone have any more info on the Heads?.....or smoking weed?.....
I've got a much better screen capture if you want it. I'm working on a vector version of the patch just for the hell of it.

that dude on the right looks exactly like joe namath.
ReplyDeleteNamath was in some really bad biker movies back in the day, and this could be an image from one of them, but I've found references to the Heads MC in several books over the years so I'm pretty sure they were an actual MC.

Also, he could give me info on smokin' weed.
This is from the movie C.C. & Company, it also had Ann Margaret and was a pretty good movie as far as biker flicks go. As for the Heads being real, I don't know but kind of doubt it. At least as far as a club using this patch goes.
