What post? Are you talking about the studs that hold the rocker box down? If thats the case, don't weld it. They unthread. We can probably find you a new one.
3 5/8" pistons? I see no teflon plugs instead of retaining rings, so they are either cast or something other than S&S. Pull the timing plug and read the wheels and I'll tell you what you've got.
