Perfect.

This is a repost, but I wanted to show you again one of my favorite bikes ever. One of Arlen Ness's early builds. Progression, I guess you would call it, is weird. It's crazy to think that dude was making motorcycles like this, now makes the shit that the general public commonly associates the Ness name with. I'm not talking shit, I'm just saying. Maybe doing it for that long will burn you out on stock frames and springers. Either way, this will still be one of my favorite machines. My shovelhead is heavily influenced off of this era.

Who's your daddy? What does he do?

Much Needed Camping.

If this fucking hurricane holds out. It's been a while since we have all got together and just rode our bikes to the woods and camped with no particular plan. Wherever we see fit, we camp. If we find a sketchy roadside bar, hang out. If we catch a fish, eat it. See some water, swim. The only organized part of the trip will be to meet at the Dojo on Saturday. And maybe head north first. And maybe bring whiskey. Here are some photos of the regions where we will be.

Good Parenting.

Maybe snakes and kids like each other? I don't know, I don't have kids. I fucking don't like snakes. No ears. I bet the rest of the shitty apartment in this photo rules though. Posters of Violent Jay and Shaggy blessing the walls, maybe Korn and Godsmack too. At least one bong in the corner that has a yin yang or a dragon on it, along with a dragon knife that turns into a bong or has a weed smoking device built into it. A token black friend with blue or blonde hair. The tank for that big ass snake with black lights surrounding it. Stupid looking stains on the carpet from some FourLoko spills. You can't forget the standard t.v. with Playstation 2 either.

Real Photography.

While we were at BMR this year, us and our friends were privileged enough to have Michael Lichter shoot a few photos. It's pretty cool to see photos of yourself riding bikes or doing whatever, especially when they are high quality and taken with true skill and talent. That was rad. BMR is so much fun. Hopefully they move locations next year. Rambling. Sorry. Here's some pictures.

California Photos.

Iphones have spoiled me. I don't use my point and shoot camera at all anymore. Well, I guess I used it for a second when we were in California for Born Free because I found some photos of Chauncey and I exploring San Pedro. That was way cool. San Pedro is a really awesome place. Think Wild Angels.

What are you doing on Sunday?

Well, then go and see the Bones Brigade documentary that playing at the film festival and go to this afterward.
